Bridget + Pat were married at one of my FAVORITE Baltimore wedding venues: Evergreen Museum and Library. This timeless venue is a historical museum located on a tree-lined property just north of Baltimore City. The lush gardens, carriage house, and historic building create the perfect romantic backdrop for a wedding in any season.
The couple’s traditional Catholic ceremony took place at the Loyola University Alumni Chapel, where Pat attended college. Family and friends then traveled right down the street to Evergreen for an open air cocktail hour followed by a tented reception. One of my favorite moments of the reception is when Bridget’s parent’s surprised the couple with a skee ball table. This was sentimental because the couple’s first date took place at a bar where they played skee ball against each other!!
I always look forward to sunsets at Evergreen. There is something about how dreamy the light gets throughout the property that makes for the most gorgeous golden hour portraits. If you’re looking for a timeless venue close to Baltimore city without that city feel, Evergreen Museum and Library is the perfect option!
I loved that the wedding guest favors were recipe books of all the couple’s favorite recipes!Of course I had to grab a photo with the couple before I left!
